A buried propane tank, owned and serviced by Barnes Propane, provides gas for the fireplace logs and for the Weber grill which conveys. Another huge bonus is the Briggs and Stratton whole house backup 20kw generator with automatic transfer switch. This, too, is powered by propane. Public water comes from Gilbert-Summit, but is managed by the Town of Batesburg-Leesville. Because sewage is discharged below grade, this home has a sewer lift pump which takes sewage to the line operated by the Town of Lexington. Electricity is provided by South Carolina Electric and Gas.
